BTRboard FIRE-X | Up to R-7.43

Tested wall assemblies incorporating BTRboard FIRE-X can achieve a minimum 45-minute fire-resistance rating for applications requiring enhanced fire protection, including zero lot line construction.

BTRboard FIRE-X combines fire protection and easy to install exterior insulation wrap without the need for extra materials or labour.

  • 45 Minute tested wall assemblies evaluated under CAN/ULC S101 and S134
  • Ideal for zero lot line builds or multi-family developments
  • Cladding and fastening requirements remain subject to manufacturer requirements, project specifications, applicable code, and AHJ acceptance
